”Your Fault”(Culpa Tuya) is Directed by XRAY and based on a novel by Mercedes Ron, Your Fault is simultaneously the sequel and prequel to My Fault and was released on Amazon Prime Video on December 27, 2024. Since its inception and release, the movie opened up to mixed reviews regarding how emotional the movie managed to engage with the audience. Out of 5 Audience rated the movie an average of 3 where 1 regarded the movie to be the worst romantic drama they have ever witnessed.

As a threat to their developing romantic relationship, Nick and Noah are up against life’s challenges of family struggles. Considering the fact that they are step siblings Noah (Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara), the movie follows their relationship throughout as they become adults or rather head off to university. In summary, the film traces the evolution of romance between Nick and Noah, and simple love in general with the struggles of adulthood and growing career. However, university life injects a series of questions regarding the tension between academic and performative career.

Amid self-discovery and growth the film deals with love, family and romance. Characters impersonate

conflicts while struggling to deal with their life – relationships, emotional crisis, and the purpose of identity in general.

Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara breathe life into their characters of Noah and Nick respectively if the film is to be forgiven for anything, it is probably the effective portrayals of its cast members. Wallace’s performance embodies Noah and projects the vulnerability which Noah has to deal with as a young woman in distress. And Guevara in complementing Wallace’s acting brings forth his raw emotions as Nick thus showcasing the scene-stealing chemistry that existed between them.

Building the emotional context of the film are the supporting actors Marta Hazas, Iván Sánchez, and Goya Toledo. While their performances are well portrayed by the critics, the center stage is taken by the love development of Noah and Nick.

Your Fault has an array of reviews from its audience. On a brighter note, Mrs. Paula Pardo Luz of Cinemanía rated the movie a 3 out of 5 stars rating which could be the case for several others. The writer felt that the movie did well in its and engaging the audience into the love plot and even pulled them in anticipation for the final saga of the movie.

The film Your Fault does get its fair share of negatives as well. This portion deals with Peters review of The Guardian who gave the film a 1/5 which is deplorable because he didn’t shy away from harsh criticism. “A Mind – Bendingly Robinson Crusoe effect.”, he exclaimed, adding that the film is “superbly muddled” with “performances apparently wooden” which completely fails the emotional factor. This contradiction indicates a stark divide and disparity with the audiences deployed emotions as some of the audience may connect with the performances and storyline and others will be put off by the drama and unreal predictably.

As it stands, Amazon Prime Video subscribers are the only people who can stream Your Fault. The movie lets the fans of the Culpable series to keep up with Noah and Nick, and it’s not going to be satisfactory to all viewers out there. This sequel for sure can be called a sequel but its targeted fans are the people who enjoy the genre and not all movie lovers.

Sad to say, double sad, Youtube and Hulu does not have the movie making it harder to reach out to more audiences. Fortunately, Amazon Prick Video allows fans to have the best out of the film.

In the end, this kind of genre can prove to be promising especially for die hard romantic drama fans or fans who followed Noah and Nick in the first movie Culpa Tuya or the movie in general. The themes it pursues are love and emotional transformation and identity which are interesting themes but still the movie received mixed reviews. It is worth to mention that the story as well as emotional considerate pace of the movie is quite good however the acting on the other hand and the pace can easily put people off the movie.

In simple terms, audiences that enjoy Culpable and extensive romantic stories need to see Your Fault. As for seeing it thru n solo If you expect to see in-depth story development and a captivating plot the development in character stories might bore you. Les fans de la saga, they might find some light in seeing the third time attempt but others after this movie would look for reasons not to.
